How to attach to an Airport network

1
Start by turning on Airport
Look to the upper Right at the top of your computer screen. You should see a 'Pie Wedge' icon. That's your Airport card.
2
Clicking the Menu Bar icon for Airport
Click on the Pie Wedge icon in the Menu Bar.
You'll see a dialog box that will allow you to turn your Airport Card on.
3
Highlighting to turn it on
4
Clicking the icon again to find your network
When you turn on the Airport Card, it will search for all networks available.
I've blurred out the other networks, but you can see that there are 3 others.
The padlocks indicate that those networks require a password.
5
The check mark indicates the selected network
Clicking on the network name will connect you with it. If it requires a password, you'll have to put that in.
When you're connected, you'll see a check mark next to network.
6
The resulting icon will show signal strength
Once you're connected, the icon will show segments that indicate signal strength.

That's all there is to it. You are connected to the Internet! Have a cookie, you deserve it.
