Devastated Streets

Debris behind the Anglican church.

A small church leveled by the blast from
the right side.

Cleared streets

The twisted wreakage of one of the
warehouses at the Hiroshima Harbor

The partially destroyed building
of the Hiroshima Gas Co. .5km
from the hypocenter.

The view from a bridge looking south, south east
toward the Hiroshima Prefecture Industrial
Exhibition Hall. Beyond the Hall is the Hypcenter.
This view is taken less than 250 meters from there.

I believe, although I have no proof,
that this is the area that had held the
Hiroshima Army Barracks and Field Hospital.

The Anglican church to the north of the hypocenter.
